Job Desc:Entry Requirements : (a) a diploma in Medical Laboratory Science from a Hong Kong polytechnic/polytechnic university, or equivalent; (b) be registered under Part II of the Register of the Medical Laboratory Technologists Board of Hong Kong; and (c) grade E or above in Chinese Language and English Language (Syllabus B) in the Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination, or equivalent.
(Note : Suitable candidates without an acceptable qualification in Chinese or English languages may also apply. Such candidates may be required to pass an appropriate language proficiency test conducted by the Civil Service Examination Unit before they can be offered appointment.)
Duties : Undertaking laboratory work in connection with the diagnosis of diseases of animals.
(Note : Required to work in New Territories and perform shift duty.)
Terms of Appointment : New recruits will be appointed on 3 years' civil service probationary terms and then 3 years' civil service agreement terms.
