Job description
Responsible for identifying, evaluating and qualifying new vendors and implementing sourcing plans and policies for the product categories assigned to meet the company’s strategic objectives and customer needs.
Actively assist the management in managing vendors.
Negotiate all elements of new supplier / customers relationships including lead time, capacity allocation, pricing and resource allocation among others to ensure reliable service, quality and low-cost procurement.
Take an active role in developing overseas market for memory products in order to widen customer base geographically.
Provide market intelligence on oversea markets and trends on a regular basis.
Help develop, arrange and maintain a global database for all customers, suppliers and competitors.
Requirements:
Degree holder with min. 2-3 year’s purchasing / sourcing experience.
Suitable candidates must have good knowledge in memory products such as NAND flash, TF card and MCP, SDRAM and DDR.
Good communication and negotiation skills
Possess an extensive sourcing network and good relationship with suppliers.
Fluent in spoken English, Mandarin and Cantonese.
The position is based in Shenzhen but overseas travel may be required.
